Cope confirms €100,000 funding for Scoil Adhamhnáin Naofa, Luinneach

Pat the Cope Gallagher MEP has confirmed that €100,000 in funding has been approved by the Department of Education and Science for Scoil Adhamhnáin Naofa in Luinneach, Gweedore.

The funding has been granted following an appeal on their initial application for accommodation.

Pat the Cope made representations on behalf of the school to his colleague the Minister for Education and Science, Batt O’Keeffe TD, and he is delighted to learn that the funding has now been sanctioned.

The funding will be used by the school for a new mainstream classroom. The room is required to accommodate the additional teacher that was appointed last year to facilitate the increased enrolment.

Pat the Cope thanked the Minister O Keeffe TD for his approval of the funding.
